Why does SAS call Detroit Metro DTT?

Trying on both sas.se and flysas.com, I couldn't understand why DTW in the To-box gave me no resulting airport. Writing Detroit instead gave me DTT as the code for Detroit Metro (Wayne). I interpret DTT as all-airports-in-Detroit, like STO or NYC. I have never seen any other flight search engine not recognise DTW. Did I miss some naming reform of Midwestern airports?
