Hello,

This is my first time posting, and I need some advice.

I would like to fly Virgin America, because their flight options seem the most convenient for my family. When I started booking our flight 2weeks ago, they had several seats, however trying to use my AMEX MR rewards points seem almost impossible. Even if i transfer my MR Points into VA Flying Club, I can't transfer the FC points into VA Elevate! And when I tried using Points.com (recommended by VA's Customer Service), my AMEX account is not linking. And I have no idea what the exchange rate is.

So now I am desperate! I gave up any hope of using mileage and tried to pay for the flights instead. I plugged in the discount code I received from Hilton Honors (20% off of VA Flights), but using the code made absolutely no difference in the price!

We need to fly out this Tuesday and I am at my wits end. I am so frustrated and I am worried there will be no seats left. Did anyone else have trouble using their HHonors discount code or know of a code that works. Also, did anyone have success transferring AMEX Membershio Rewards points to Elevate, or knows what the Points.com exchange rate is?
