Post newbie to HKIA & Macau Ferries, in late May, CX883
Hi FT,

Perhaps I can get some helpful advise from the FT folks who have been to HKIA and the Macau Ferries

I will be arriving on CX 883 (LAX-->HKG) ~ 5:30am and transit to Macau to the Westin Resort there.

Is there any way I can get to an Airside or Landside lounge @ HKIA to freshen up and perhaps take a shower...that was a 14 hr flight , u know.

I have a Priorty Pass, AMEX PLAT, and OW Sapphire status..Any lounge suggestions...?

It seems that this is not possible, to get back in order to get to the SKYPIER

once i go thru Customs and Immigration @ HKIA.

Since the 1st ferry is not ~ until 9am, what is a traveler to do...? What would an exp FT do..? sit and wait for 3.5 hours in the Skypier waiting area...?


Next question:

On my outbound, on CX520 (HKG-->NRT) lv: 10:35am, what time do I need to be @ HKIA, the earliest ferry seems to be ~ 7am from Macau Ferry Terminal and every 30min thereafter ...?
