Just booked a multicity Asia from IAD via Europe. First call to 1K line resulted in "you can't do that, it's around the world"...really? I just flew a similar award last month.

Thanked her, and immediately called back. Next agent had it fully booked and ticketed within 10 minutes, all for a measly 145K. ^

Things have improved since March. Whereas before we had to wait 24 hours, now they can confirm everything right away, except for SQ which provides no feedback (so you call them yourself).

Anyone know if the BKK airport tax is included in the award, or do you have to pay that separately?
