Gadz, I always use ITA to search for DL fares, then after I find what I want, then I go over to DL's site and book it. ITA often comes up with interesting, and less expensive options that require sometimes strange routings.
I don't think Delta has a reason to remove ITA's access to their fares; ITA doesn't charge a portion of the fare at booking because ITA doesn't let you buy tickets. AA never disappeared from ITA during their direct-connection drama a couple months ago.
I'd be more worried about Google's acquisition of ITA messing stuff up.
