I rented a car from Dollar at LHR a few years ago and it was broken into while in my care. Rear window smashed, paint/trim damaged.
I was out in England's West Country at the time, miles from anywhere, on a Saturday night. But I rang the Dollar Freephone number anyway. They dispatched a repair van to fit a new (albeit temporary plastic) window at my (rural) location -- at 800a on a Sunday morning. I was very impressed. Later I drove it to Glasgow like that, dropped it at GLA, and the bored Dollar agent couldn't have cared less. It was hundreds of dollars' damage and I never heard a thing about it.
