But, are the two flights on the same ticket?

Two differents tickets:
2*23kg for the leg US-CDG (1+1 as DL FO)
3*32 for CDG-India (2 + 1).

Same ticket on AF:
I don't know the policy: if it is the least or the most generous allowance or the first flight's one.
Least generous: 3*23kg (2+1)
Most generous: 3*32kg (2+1)
