LOL. I used to get carded even in my late 20s and got offended and now at age 45 I would love it

Try ordering in Knoxville, TN. 3-4 years ago a server at an Applebees or some such establishment insisted on carding everyone in my party, including a 65 year old gentleman who looked older than his age.

No one was younger than 45 or so. We thought he was kidding at first, but he said it was required (wasn't clear if he meant that it was a restaurant, local, or state requirement). We found it pretty amusing.
