Back to the OPs original question. Probably the best way to get more than 1 cent a mile is to pass you miles onto me. I would be happy to paypal 1.1 cents for each mile you are able to 'gift' to me. Im sure others would feel the same.

So there you go, $1100 for your miles in a jiffy.
