Ahhh, but but but ... my BA Amex rewards me/us with BA Miles with all our spend on the cards. So groceries, on-line retail, BA tickets and a big skip of spend in the USA all clocks up Miles. No 'rebate', but a personal benefit. I don't calculate it at x/mile, I am simply aware I'm gaining some benefit [and I guess BA is too].

Perhaps I'm just easily pleased, and simply content to fly in CW at WT+ prices [taxes and fees notwithstanding]
