Yep, as an owner, I know they are J.W. Hulme Company. Just shortening for the internet address buzzword.
I have had the dark green/leather sportsman's set for 10 years or so. Still looks brand new, but I take care of it and NEVER check it.
I've got the roll aboard Pullman, the large Duffel, and the suit bag (Listed as "Garment Protector"). I roll up the suit bag and put it in the duffel. Shazam. Nice travel set.
It is amazing stuff. It's heirloom quality IMO. Worth every penny.
In hindsight, I sort of wish I had ordered the Tan canvas with leather rather than the dark green canvas and leather. But that's fine. I also have an Orvis Battenkill "Weekender" carry-on bag that matches this set so all is well. Orvis Battenkill now that it is made in china is not the quality of the J.W. Hulme luggage, and it slightly darker olive green. The J.W. set is more British Racing Green. I opted for the brass plate monogram. They will also do engraving in the leather. Your choice. Sometimes, if you get lucky, the owner actually takes your order if you phone in in. He'll be glad to tell you how fine his luggage is and how painstakingly he and his employees work on each piece.
Speaking of that, it's Easter weekend and I have to pack for a flight tomorrow morning. Time to dust of the J.W. Luggage.
