@ Skeeter.gogo: Thanks
Hi Everyone, bowing to your respective expert advice, I managed to convince my wife to cut our 14 nights trip to the below:
1. Geneve - arrival at 7am
2. Lausannes - spending 1 night
3. Zermatt - 2 nights stay
4. Milano/Florence - 3 nights stay
5. Rome/Naples - 3 nights stay
6. Zurich - 2 nights stay
7. Interlaken/Lucerne - 2 nights stay
8. Geneve - 1 night stay as our plane leaves at 11am the next morning there
Is the above doable without being rushed? Appreciate more tips on my trip schedule, things to do/must sees & advice again.
Hotel recommendations are greatly appreciated. Currently for most locations except for Lausannes and Zermatt, we are looking at either Radisson hotels (which we never stayed before at their chain) and ICH hotels (of which I'm a member there and mulling over buying Ambassador just for this trip to Europe)
Further clarifications sought:
Is it true that the swiss pass includes trips on Glacier express, top of euro train rides etc without us having to pay more?
Does 1st class and 2nd class rail travel make any difference?
Thanks in advance again everyone
