I opened a Halifax Easy Account to get the Electron card. In the UK, it allows 'faster payments' to the account, so when I need to book an EZY flight, I check the price and then transfer the money to Halifax and then pay. As it is a basic account, there is no interest payments. I think everyone can have one and there are no charges.
