Besides the number of people who don't notice the scam (or notice the scam too late like I did), there's also a number of people who noticed the scam and decided it was not worth reversing or too anti-social to request a reverse.
Anti-social - if you're sitting with a bunch of self-important, impatient 40-50 year old Hongkies who are used to using cash on everything, you'll know what I mean.
