I have flown DOH-BAH-LHR 11 times and have only once encountered difficulties with the temperature.
Normally at BAH they hitch the aircraft up to some external AC units and blow the cool air through the vents into the cabin. It is really quite exciting as all the cold steam comes in.
The AC seems to be quite powerful and by the time the other passengers have come on the aircraft is nice and cool.
Only once, when the external AC was not operating correctly, was the temperature uncomfortable and soon after take off the cabin temperature had fallen nicely.
