JetConnect is a NZ company wholly owned subsidary of Qantas domiciled in NZ. Aircraft are registered in NZ (ZK rego). Crew are NZ based and hired in NZ on NZ wages & conditions. Not sure if the crew are employed by JC or work for another company.

Do not believe the c&&p put out by the QF unions. Many Oz companies have 100% owned NZ subsidaries. Many NZ companies have 100% owned Oz subsidaries like Air NZ owned Ansett (r.i.p.)
