As above - do you actually need a landline? Only reason I still have one is because I can't get broadband any other way - I'd drop the landline in an instant if the broadband service could be unbundled.

How long is the house rental for? BT will tie you in for 12 months (and will probably attempt to snare you for 18 months...)
