I am actually in the process of investigating the feasibility of getting a Verizon Unlimited international BB voice and data plan instead of dealing with Bellus or Robbers.

Smartphone data PAYG are abundant. However due to the way BB deal with Data they need to be set up to the BB server in that country/region.
I am presently using a Andriod phone with local voice and data PAYG SIM's when I am away from Canada.
