It seems to range in "cheesiness" (no jokes please), depending on the batch I suppose, but is unmistakably "mac n cheese" in each case. That must be what was going on here. There were all kinds of catering errors on the flight (it was supposed to be a 734 but got swapped to a 738 with 734 catering, so our food was served in the oven tins rather than on plates). The FA's were, as usual, fantastic, notwithstanding the inedible food and what turned out to be the most obnoxious family I have ever encountered on an airplane sitting right behind us. And I agree that mac and cheese is a good idea for F if it is executed well.
