Evenings tend to be light in general. I was there last Wednesday evening and the wait was no more than 10 minutes at customs. Connections have priority and are sent to the far left side of the customs hall. Typically waiting for your bags is the longest part of the process. As CLT-YYZ is typically a CRJ this shouldn't be too bad. 75 minutes should be fine.
