I am a Family Physician and seem to have to respond at least once a year to the dreaded "is there is a physician on board..." announcement. Until last week, have never had to request an unscheduled stop, but that was needed last week on a flight from YYZ to YLW. The flight was already over 2 hours late leaving Toronto, and then having to stop in Winnipeg, I was amazed at how well the other passengers, and all the crew (cabin and flight) handled it. Good humor and thanks all round. So Kudos to AC crew on this one!
