I still see LAX-SBA flights at least into May. Last time I flew the route, the Delta code was on only a couple of the flights and not all of them.

I'm not sure if Delta codeshares with AE on the LAX-SAN flights since Delta started up LAX-SAN. It's entirely possible the number of codeshare flights out of LAX has been reduced.

On my last LAX-SBA flight in January, the AE folks declined to reprint my boarding pass and the scanner accepted the Delta printed boarding pass. My SOP when returning is to go to the LAX SkyClub and have the American passes reprinted, so I've never tried to use them.
