I was just at the Renaissance Blackstone in Chicago, and the HSIA was so slow there, it felt like opening simple webpages regularly took more than 5 minutes (an overstatement, but they did take about 3 minutes). It was probably the slowest HSIA I have encountered at any MI hotel in 3 years or more. I asked about it when I checked out, and the FDC did say that management was aware of it, and was planning on fixing the problem, EVENTUALLY. When I went to print my boarding pass, the BP terminal kept locking up, so after three tries I went to the business center, where it took literally 10 minutes to print my BP's.
