Do any of the "more learned" FT posters know whether BA will merge two bookings if made at different times? I guess quite a few of us have (for example) a work trip that we take at a convenient time to a personal trip that is already booked (or going to be booked)

I did that for my recent holiday to South Africa. Wasn't concerned as I had plenty of time between planned arrival at LHR from Aberdeen and planned departure to Joburg but I have had other instances when the times have been a lot closer!

Any thoughts on this appreciated
