I would normally say yes, but the IC HKG, along with the IC BKK, are super stingy and will look for any excuse to not give you benefits. I'm not sure what is written in the fine print of both programs, but you may want to just give a call to the hotel, ask for the Ambassador expert, and see what they say.

The IC LA, which is much nicer in giving benefits has no problem with this.
