It might just be that I'm used to German pat-downs by now, but I always found security at LCY to be very efficient and exceptionally friendly (and not that interested in feeling me up). On the few busy days that I departed from LCY, they generally operated two security lines; one for passengers checking in in a timely manner, and one for passengers arriving just in time for their flight. That was quite reassuring whenever I was a bit late.

Also much preferred arriving at LCY over arriving in T5, if only because the queues for border security are much more manageable.

Kind of miss flying LCY - RTM to be honest...
