My wife and I really enjoyed Vinopolis during a trip a few years ago. We were quite buzzed by the time we left - which made walking around central London afterwards quite a bit of fun. We rarely drink - so wondering around a foreign city a little tipsy together ended up being a bit romantic as well.

Work usually puts me up at the Churchill Hyatt. When my wife comes we walk down to St Christopher's Place for dinner at least once. Not sure what locals think of the area, but it fits the bill well for a tourist couple like us wanting a nice meal/nice enough ambiance/great people watching spot.
