Yes I can say this w/ 100% accuracy. I have never downloaded a file that took 30 minutes or more to download. I might download word docs, pdfs or some images (that take little time to download), but that's about it. So don't make me your fall guy.

I also stay at Marriotts a lot, & whether it's 24 hours or noon-noon, I have never once, nada, ever, encountered re-authorization 'freezing' my computer. Having said that, if it did happen I'd probably be a bit cranky too.

Given you've only encountered a problem w/ large files 3 times, I'm a bit perplexed that you can then extrapolate & say 'others' are doing massive downloads which are hogging bandwidth & you're not. My point is - if it's taking you the hours you're saying it is to download your file, then yes you are indeed hogging the bandwidth.

I just stayed a week at a Marriott property & the reauthorization time changed, but was totally accurate for when I was re-authorizing & was due to when I was online & nothing else.

And not to point out the obvious - just because people don't agree w/ you doesn't mean they're attacking you
