Would you consider staying here for a rate around $150 per night as long as your company or a client is paying? I have some options for a 1- or 2-night stay early in 2004, and I'd prefer a nice Westin than a typical strip/theme hotel...even if it's The Venetian or other properties in that class. Las Vegas is not my idea of a fun time, so I don't need to experience the "true" strip atmosphere.</font>
In answer to your question, yes I would stay there on a corp rate, but it would be even better if you checked and found a cheaper rate to bill your client (at this hotel). I was originally booked at a corp rate of $179 and ended up paying a discounted rate of $48 for the same room. While yes, it doesn't have a 'true strip atomsphere', I for one am not looking for a 'strip' hotel and find this property suits me just fine. But I will agree, stay away from the slots here, you'll rarely come out ahead.
