The FCO/BKK flight lands around 6:05am, there is a BKK-HKG flight in F at 8:00am. An another one at 10:40, but no F or J....the 1:55pm has J seats.

Is a 2 hour transfer time enough in BKK?

Do we need to pass custom's even when transfering?
Plenty of time, Commie, I fly in from Paris and do the same connection or otherwise to DPS at 8am, the flight arrives at the same time approx. You will have time for a shower and freshen up, the girls will arrange a shower room for you and a stack of towels. I usually have a breakfast, coffee and then it's time to board. Best to keep flying so pick the 8am, oh , they will buggy you through the transit line, but don't have any bottles over 500ml in your carry on, enjoy your trip.
