While I agree there are plenty of bogus lawsuits, this doesn't quite rise to the level of the list you gave...

the airline (JAL in this case) has duties to check passports, etc. and may have failed to do what was required. I wouldn't be especially surprised if there's more to this than the absurdist type of claim which should also have them suing saudi arabia and the road manufacturers.
