from my experiences - allow yourself plenty of time to complete the security checks (which are thorough but not unreasonable - there is a pre-check and luggage scan before check-in) but check-in doesn't open until 3 hours before departure IIRC so try to aim to get there about 3 hours before you flight. I got there a little too early and had to wait for check-in to open. Otherwise its not really much different to any other airport. The DAN lounge is nothing great but nice enough to wait in.
