They are using a bizarre in-room wifi system. After calling the front desk a couple of times it does eventually work. They may be in the testing phase since the check-in agent confirmed, and reconfirmed that it would be free. One thing to watch out for, though: at check out they of course tried to charge the EUR26 per day for the internet, so make sure you get the name of anyone who tells you it is free.
