Earlier this week I made 3 phone calls and spent 1.5 hours on hold, but finally found an agent who would honor my voucher. Of course the fare had gone up $300 while I was on hold and he wouldn't honor the original price.

I went on to co's website and the fare had not updated yet, so I just booked the flight there. Most of the time vouchers don't seem like the hassle you go through to redeem them.
I held a reservation once to make sure I got a seat with my 3 kids (whose tickets were mile redemptions). For some reason the CSR wouldn't let me purchase my ticket without releasing and rebooking it. That was stressful!
