There was another thread about this hotel a few weeks ago. It is relatively easy (and dirt cheap) to travel by public bus to the Brazilian side, and is well worth the journey. There is also a nice luxury hotel on the Brazilian side referenced in the earlier post.

A great three night stopover, IMHO.
