Did you get to the Brasilean side?</font>
No, we didn't. We could see the Brazilian viewing areas from our terrace as well as from the Devil's Throat and decided that the higher and further vantage point did give you a good overall view of all the separate falls, but we preferred to be closer and have a more intimate relationship with the churning water. Basically we felt we could improve upon the Brazilian side's view with a commercially filmed video taken from a helicopter, but you couldn't duplicate the feel of the spray whipping you about nor the violent roar of the many
chutes echoing in our ears.
Any idea how full occupancy was?
I didn't ask, but things were hopping and the breakfast buffet which is included in all paid rates was pretty much always full. Bear in mind that we were there during the Argentine holiday season. Also note that the park and hotel seem to be busier during the weekdays when groups and tours descend on the place. Weekends are oddly quieter. A park official told us that Tuesdays and Wednesdays are the busiest days. Most organized bus tours from BsAs depart on Sunday and begin their tours at the park on Tuesday and leave by Thursday.
In regards to the Sheraton, I forgot to mention that even though they are classified as a resort, there was no problem checking in early (1 PM) and departing late (4 PM).
