With the new rule changes, what is the opinion out there? I use SPG/Amex MR cards with general hopes of scoring first class tickets via Aeroplan, redeeming with Star Alliance partners. Mostly looking at US to Europe/Hawaii via Star Alliance carriers.

Just signed up for Fidelity Investment Rewards to transfer to aeroplan too.

Still worth it or should I change my method for rewards/points? Other cards such as Hyatt/IHG visas are looking decent to go along with SPG for redeeming for hotels with ~0 hassle.
