Recently I flew KQ into NBO and JNB. They are FINE. They certainly provide BETTER service than some long-term members of OW,ST and *A. Heck, even much-touted EK was quite .....rdly with me and almost took exception to my request for some red wine with my meal - but that is another story, and is one reason why I don't fly EK. In Africa I have flown SAA, Kenyan, Ethiopian and Air Botswana. Safety standards were fine. Service was fine too, but the Air Botswana flight was so short that all we had time for was a quick snack - no booze.

Bottom line is that Kenyan Airways is fine. Fly them with as much confidence as you would with any other airline member of the "Big 3".
