Arrival of CX 261 HKG-CDG on friday morning (Apr 15):
As most of the time, CX landed earlier than schedule ^.
- "Luggage will be arriving at belt 7":
20 min waiting, no luggage
- "Sorry luggage will be arriving at belt 5 due to technical problem": five hundred people (from two flights) have to move with empty cart from a congested luggage area to another even more congested one:

- AA flight from JFK arrived and have its baggage on the same luggage belt as CX 261: beginning of the chaos
-After a good heavy hour, luggage start arriving. As I have a first priority tag, I hope I will be among the first to get my suitcase. Forgot I was in CDG, first priority tag will usually put your luggage at the very end of the queue, maibe they cant read english... . Another
30 min wait.
- Finally manage to get the suitcase, just as I was going to file the form for lost luggage..., find my way out of the chaos trough custom and then arrive @ Hertz where I'm told that my car wont be ready before another 30 min.
As someone said recently, service is just not in their DNA in Europe, especially at CDG should I say.....
I dont even get mad anymore, just observe the chaos like if I was Claude Lévi-Strauss' assistant on duty.....
