I'm going to go with Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. Yeah, they're in the same state...BUT...the circumstances made them an odd pair.

I was in Philadelphia for the Sunday, December 26, 2010 NFL game. Because of an impending blizzard, they delayed the game for two days. The NFL hadn't delayed a game for weather in something like 70 years.

From there I went to Pittsburgh for the NHL Winter Classic, the New Year's Day hockey game. Because of rain, the game was delayed 7 hours.

I doubt there are 20 other people who can say they attended weather-delayed NFL and NHL games in the same week. Think about that the next time you're stuck in Newark
