we do get many advantages and disadvantages... schools are cheaper,
we pay less tax, the weather is nicer and the island is safe and has fantastic beaches, but it costs a lot to get off the island, house prices are ridiculous, living costs are high and it can be considered a little quiet by us of the younger age groups! If the CI and ROI have lower TP thresholds it will be a lot better for all! The JER-LGW-JER route is full with status pax too, as Jersey is a place for the rich in many cases.
Also, I don't mean to be selfish but if we get euro TP requirements= shiny Gold card for me

This from someone who pays NO tax, doesn't have to buy a house, possibly can't comprehend "cost of living" [let alone know where it lives], has subsidised education ... and has his flights paid for by the "Bank of Mum & Dad"!
I can assure you it's cheaper living here than in Camberley, by a LONNNGGG way
