Does anyone have any more information on the HI Istanbul City?

I'm headed to IST soon on a budget and at 10K PC/night it just seems like a total steal. How is the location for sightseeing and tourism?

Seems like free wifi, but not expecting any other notable benefits.

Have some Sweet Dilemma nights that I will use for the IC Istanbul towards the end of the trip, but need to fill out the first few nights.

Am I better off looking for something more local to stay in?
