I really can't understand the bar being set this low. It takes 50k miles to get gold (4x LHR-BKK-LHR in Y plus another 2k miles), are they really going to give platinum for 3 x LHR-BKK-LHR in C plus a couple of regional flights which is all it took to give you gold? ("to qual u hv to gold first.") And no added miles for travelling in F? 100k miles including "bonus" i.e plus 25% for C and plus 50% for F as previous would make more commercial sense. If it is as above the benefits won't be very much over gold which does seem to be the case:

As gold I get to use the lounge at LHR when in Y but I get no better when in C or F as there is no F lounge (which does p me off a bit, they could at least have a separate area for F with better service and nicer wine or Champagne as you get in BKK). So what extra will Platinum give me? I also bet the benefits above are not in addition to gold but in place of. It seems this is gold+ not platinum.
