I am brand new to the Hilton HHonors program - but now have HHonors points thanks to the current credit card promotion. I just looked over the sticky, but could not find an answer to this question: Once you book a hotel stay award is it possible to cancel it (say a day or two before the date of the stay) if necessary? Would the points be refunded? (And a side question: If I use up all of of my points except for a remaining balance of 10,000 or so [and do not plan to be earning any future points] is there a non-hotel-stay way to make use of them? For hotel meals? Or merchandise, etc.?
