Those configs did not have AVOD - just overhead screens, and 9W used to hand out PEAs (personal entertainment appliances) in premiere. The seats were excellent with outstanding seat pitch (58 inches), extensive recline etc... for a 737, they actually held a candle to SQ's widebodies...

Those aircraft are still around and flying some Gulf sectors (my father had one on a BOM-BAH recently) - but without the PEA's and the full premiere service like it used to be.

Out of curiosity, do these planes have AVOD now?

A google search reveals that the frames are VT-JGE/F/G.
