Thanks for the reply! I forgot to mention I do not hold a US passport, and I probably have to recheck my bags at T1 after clearing customs at TBIT, hopefully that doesn't changes anything.
While I hear customs can be slow at TBIT, I would think that 2h30 should be enough even for non-US passports, but perhaps someone else who has done it can chime in here.
