The issue with my double charge is still not closed yet. The hotel came back to SPG and siad that the charge of approx 180$ was for one room only and not 2 as they had indicated to me and I signed up for.

Anyways, I disputed the charge thru my AMEX and have got the initial credit for $90 as I asked for. However I had to send in a written explanation of the whole event to AMEX before the matter could be closed.

I am still not sure if the credit of $90 will stay on my AMEX or if it will be reversed based on what the hotel says during the course of investigation.

PS: They did not provide me with a reciept so I have no proof.
