It is rumored that you can also buy Hilton points through the Discover America promo that is also selling the Hyatt points. The OP should be able to buy enough points for his stay in Maldives at either of the 3 Hilton properties there. And by my calculation, it is actually cheaper than doing the same via Hyatt points purchase.
