Not if the TSA has their way. This has been a thorn in their side from day one. They've always said that GA is a hole in their coverage and they would like to see private airports follow the same rules. Of course this is absurd, but that has never stopped the TSA before. I thought that when that guy crashed his plane in to the IRS building that it would lead to a renewed call for GA screening, but fortunately there is at least some semblance of reason left in Washington. I can just picture it now, some private pilot getting the enhanced pat down while trying to get in to his own Cessna 182.
What would they have done? Prohibit the use of private airplanes? "I'm sorry, sir, you'll have to leave the airplane here with us or put it into your checked baggage and take a commercial aircraft from some other airport."
