The CPH Novia lounge is being refurbished, which will take three or four months. In the meantime, they have relocated to the former BA lounge in the far southwestern corner of the main terminal, close to the A pier/concourse.

Despite CPH being very busy today, the Novia lounge was extremely quiet. The maximum was six guests, which decreased to zero when another guy and I left to board our flight. I suspected that the sign at the door directing Priority Pass holders elsewhere might be the cause, which the lounge staff confirmed.

The good news is that the refurbished lounge will be divided into physically separate Priority Pass and Business Class sections.

I usually visit the Novia Lounge late morning or early afternoon, and it is invariably very busy. Staff often can't cope, dirty dishes everywhere and filthy toiltes. Families with lots of kids are not uncommon at certain times of the year, nor are loud groups of people on conference or incentive trips. The vast majority presumably traveling in Y, and the adult groups have a tendency to drink heavily to make sure they get their money's worth. Novia has apparently received so many complaints that they have decided to separate the wheat from the chaff.
